"We want you to create an innovative e-bike saddle." With these
few words, Prologo launched a design challenge at the Politecnico
University of Milan. A 360° project that started with an in-depth
market analysis to get to know the industry, the target and the
competition. This is then transferred to develop the best product
that Prologo can offer in this market segment.
- The shape: Semicircular shape, 250 mm long and available in 155
mm. Proxim W450 is more flexible at the edges, which allows greater
freedom of movement and makes every pedal stroke easier.
- Ergonomic Channel: The W450 is a versatile saddle suitable for
many applications and disciplines. In the middle area, the active
foam and central recess provide stability and comfort by
distributing pressure across the entire saddle surface. The closed
prostate zone also offers better protection of the genital area in
extreme weather conditions.
- Recessed grip and reflective graphics: The saddle is equipped
with a rear "grip" to facilitate movement of the bike, as well as
graphics made of reflective material to increase safety.
- Extra padding +6mm: In the SPORT version, the padding has been
increased to ensure greater comfort, especially due to the shock
and vibration-absorbing effect. The result is 12 mm thick
padding.
