Description
The Conti TPU tube is available in a wide range of sizes from
25-622 to 60-622. It is particularly light yet durable and is
suitable for both road and off-road applications. Micrometer-thick
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) of the highest quality is
processed in seven layers, thereby achieving the best possible
airtightness and durability. The tubes remain uncolored to ensure
the highest material quality and to avoid unwanted pressure loss
that can be caused by color-related surface defects. Each ContiTPU
tube is subjected to manual quality control after production. The
base of the valve stem is slightly conical to improve the fit on
the rim and reduce unwanted movement while driving. The valve stem
also has an internal thread, which allows the use of valve
extensions or a replacement valve core.
