Vittoria's Ultra Light Speed ​​hoses are made from thermoplastic polyurethane. In addition to being fully recyclable, this material also offers excellent technical properties; it is resistant from -47°C to +100°C. It can be uniformly extruded in very thin thicknesses. It has good elasticity and is completely airtight, so the air pressure inside can be kept constant for a long time. It is puncture resistant and in the event of a puncture, the airflow is slower compared to butyl and latex, resulting in increased safety.


To achieve the incredible lightness of 30g and greater puncture resistance than butyl tubing, Ultra Light Speed ​​are manufactured using multi-layer co-extrusion technology and are 0.35mm thick. This makes them extremely thin compared to butyl tubes, which are usually 1 mm thick. Welding is done using high frequency technology.
