The Aero Pro pads are made of sintered metal. The brake pad consists of an air-cooled aluminum heat sink for massive temperature reduction. This aluminum carrier plate, which is equipped with cooling fins, helps to dissipate the brake heat much better into the ambient air and to prevent the brake calliper and brake discs from overheating. This effectively counteracts fading and the slower temperature rise means that brakes with Aero Pro pads have more consistent braking behavior. The aluminum back plate is reusable. The replacement pads are available under the part number KS-D296T.
