Description
Continental Tubular Tire Putty Carbon 25g Tube
The tubular tire putty for carbon
rims was developed specifically for the increased thermal loads and
the special features of the surface of carbon material.
The poor heat dissipation of carbon causes conventional putty to
soften, especially on long mountain pass descents. This can cause
the tire to jump off the rim. The specially developed carbon putty
remains stable even at high temperatures. Important: Be sure to
follow the processing instructions!
Aluminum and carbon are fundamentally different. This also
applies, especially when connecting the tire to the rim. In
addition to the different surface structure, the different thermal
conductivity of the materials is particularly important. It is
therefore important to take the different properties of the
materials into account with different types of putty.
Features
- Carbon rims have different properties typical of the material
and have a different thermal conductivity Aluminum
- So that the tires do not jump off the rims even during long
mountain passes, this special putty was developed for use with
carbon rims
