Description
The Air-Liner is a high-quality polymer insert that replaces
part of the air volume in the tire. This feature, combined with the
shape, provides a tunable system that improves your driving
performance.
The Air-Liner eliminates the traditional compromise of stability
vs. grip and allows your tires to remain stable, grippy and
controlled even at low pressure. The Air-Liner is constructed with
a round cross-section, with channels on the top and bottom.
The upper channel provides space for the tunable air chamber,
which sits directly under the tire tread. Upon impact, the corner
edges of the channel bend first and gradually build up to the
thicker part as the tire is compressed. This keeps the tread
flexible, increasing traction without compromising impact
resistance.
The lower channel allows for easy fine-tuning of the air chamber
and allows full compatibility with all valve core types. The round
cross-sectional shape mimics the natural shape of the tire and
supports a larger contact area within the sidewalls of the tire
carcass. The lateral stability of the tire is increased, but the
tread remains soft and grippy. This improves cornering, climbing
and braking performance.
