The Shimano Supertype 5-arm chainring is CNC-milled from 7075 aluminum by Miche. According to Miche, this guarantees the greatest possible shifting accuracy with racing bike gear groups from Shimano, among others. The chainrings are anodized using the total treatment process (TT) for high wear resistance.
